Our boating safety and docking courses are taught by NSBC-certified, U.S. Coast Guard–licensed Master Captains, a distinction that goes beyond basic licensing. NSBC certification means your instructor is trained to teach recreational boaters using nationally recognized, on-water instructional standards.
Lessons are hands-on and tailored to you, your boat, and the waters you operate in, focusing on real-world boat handling, docking, navigation, and safety. Training meets ANSI and NASBLA standards, includes a nationally recognized certificate, and may help reduce insurance premiums.
We train on boats from 10 to 300 feet, travel to your location whenever possible, and also offer instruction aboard our vessel.

I am a nationally accredited boating instructor and career Captain with over 30 years of command experience across commercial, private, and specialty vessels.
As an NSBC and U.S. Coast Guard–approved instructor, I deliver structured, systems-based training that builds precise, repeatable control at the helm.
My background includes command of ferries, commercial vessels, yachts, and specialty craft, along with developing training manuals for multinational maritime companies and teaching IMO Maritime English virtually for one of the world’s largest global shipping organizations.
